A series of six photos of my Kawasaki Ninja, taken at blue hour by the roadside.
The intention
Make a black motorbike stand out against a deep blue sky: the bodywork almost melts into the shadow, only the reflections and headlights draw the machine.
What I did
- Low-angle shots, at ground level, to give the bike power.
- An alternation of wide shots (bike and sky) and details (cockpit, Ninja logo) to tell the story of the series.
- A shared colour grade: saturated blues, deep blacks, controlled highlights.
