In short

The showcase website of a non-profit daycare centre in Neuchâtel, which has been welcoming children from 2 months to 4 years old since 2001. It has to reassure parents and give them all the practical information in a few clicks.

Context

Before calling a daycare, parents look for three things: whether they can trust it, how their child will be cared for, and how to register. The website had to answer those three questions on the very first visit.

What I did

  • The site architecture as one clear page: Home, About, Teaching approach, Gallery, Testimonials, Info & Registration, plus a Team page.
  • The design: a warm and reassuring tone, with photos of children in action and colourful icons.
  • An available-places banner at the top of the home page, for the most awaited information.
  • The presentation of the two groups (“Les Petits”, “Les Grands”), the meals and the teaching approach (Montessori, “Youp’là bouge” label).
  • The 5-step registration process, with opening hours, subsidised fees, an embedded Google Map and PDF documents.
  • Testimonials from families, with a link to the Google reviews.
  • A responsive, mobile-first website with a full-screen menu.

Result

The website is live. Parents find everything they need to register on a single page.
